TagsTreePlugin not refreshing

Hello guys!

I've been a minimalist TiddlyWiki user (and fan) since 2010. The plugins I use are Breadcrumbs, OpenTop, YourSearch.

Recently, I imported the TagsTreePlugin (very nice and useful) from VisualTW without a hitch.

But I've noticed that in my TW, TagsTree doesn't refresh automatically - I have to reload to see my left menu change. What could be wrong?

My setup is: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, Firefox 17.0.1 with TiddlyFox, and TiddlyWiki (Pre-release build v2.7.0 (beta 2) October, 2012).

Updated the code but the left menu still doesn't automatically/instantly refreshes.

You have to modify the code of the TagsTreePlugin because the PageTemplate tiddler has been modified since. Just open the TagsTreePlugin Tiddler and change the last line by :

 

config.shadowTiddlers.PageTemplate = config.shadowTiddlers.PageTemplate.replace(/id='mainMenu' role='navigation' refresh='content' /,"id='mainMenu' role='navigation' refresh='content' force='true' ")

 

Normally, your left menu should be updated automatically now.

I am now happy to report that your suggestion worked!

I used a an empty tiddlywiki and TagsTreePligin was the first thing I imported - and works like a charm. :)
