Unfortunately, opposed to the feature list, Tiddly Wiki does not work
on Mac with Safari, at least not on my computers. Editing and reading
works, but as soon as I hit the Save link I get an unfortunately
pretty unspecific error message:

"Failed to save main TiddlyWiki file. Your changes have not been
saved"

???

I am using Safari 5.0.3.

cheers

Because Safari (and other webkit-based browsers) do not have native
file I/O functions built-in, you MUST instal the companion
TiddlySaver.jar file, which provides a *java* applet with the needed
functionality for TiddlyWiki's "file save" processing.

Please read the following documentation:

I'm seeing some similar behavior on Chrome on Win 7, the same error
message shows up, but only occasionally. It /seems/ to be related to
editing tags on existing pages, though I am not certain this is the
issue. Is this a known issue/am I doing something wrong? Other times
saving works just fine.

Hi, Eric.

I am using this approach and still having the same issue as the OP.
You wouldn't happen to know a way to diagnose the issue?
