Newbie - Google Groups Labels and Reply to author??

I don't seem to be able to label posts, nor reply directly to author?

Hi,

You can only use predefined tags.

The reply button top right has a "dropdown". It should allow you to "Reply privately to author"

Dave,

The "new Google Groups" is so far not comprehensive. If you can ensure you use the old interface it will help.

Thanks... I've never used Google groups, old version looks better ... duh it is google after all
