Hello all,

Slowly I'm getting into using Cardo in a more sophisticated way, as compared to when I started with it. I have a question with regard to the "Due Dates" .. well, in fact it's more than one question:
  1. When entering a time with the Due Date, does the pop up come up at this specific time?
Observation: the little note does not show the minutes if set to "00"
  2. How is the "Recurring" supposed to work? At what frequency does it "recur"?

Any hint is appreciated.

In general, great piece of work, David! The more I'm using it, the more I like it :-)

Jörg.

Hi Jörg, glad you're using it in more depth!

"Recurring" tasks are much simpler than you think - they just remove the "Completed" checkbox, as a recurring task will never really be done.
Deselect "Recurring", and the "Completed" box comes back.

Reminders are a little different... If they're selected as "Daily", "Weekly", anything but "Once", they will fire on that schedule and every day after until they're deleted.

Items with due dates show up on Dashboards as due that day, all day. I've noticed a couple of bugs with the calendar plugin I use, so I'll tackle them soon.

Thanks,
David.

David,

Thanks for the explanation. That makes perfect sense, just wasn't sure about your thoughts behind it.

A really minor thing, but to me it seems to be confusing to be able to enter a time for "Due DATE". The way I look at this, due date is a date and the reminder carries a time on top.

Anyway, I'm happy as it is! Thanks again, Jörg.

I'm using a 3rd-party plugin for that... Will double-check if I can turn on/off the time selector when it's inappropriate to use one.

Cheers,
David.
