Just out of curiosity, anybody ever fish the Dulles Airport Pond? Couldn't help noticing it in very flattering early morning light today; caused me to consider a one day fishing staycation....;-)

If you're in the area, go down the tollroad a couple of miles and hit Beaverdam Reservoir.  Park at the Church on Mt Hope Road.  It helps if you have a car-top boat of some sort.

Doh!! Shhhhhh!  ;-)  

Pay no attention to reports that Beaverdam is a nice lake, with plenty of bass and low fishing pressure because most NOVA residents don't know about it and can't launch big trailered boats for lack of a ramp.  Those guys are all wrong wrong wrong.

There is a ramp at Burke Lake that's close.  Go there instead.
