Board Room VA closed

Hey everybody, 

I was sad to learn today that our new Beer Tie venue,  Board Room VA, permanently closed last week. It was a short run of only about 4 months for us there. Rest assured we will be sorting out a new venue, if not by next Monday then certainly for the bluegill tourney weigh in on June 8th.

We had a great time last night. Misha ordered some sort of mondo huge 12wt sized fried chicken sandwich. He's probably still chewing. 

The tables were not great in our section for clamp vises. I will bring more pedestals next month and try to secure the squared off tables early. Lighting was decent and we had numerous outlets for lamps. I will bring more next month. 

Great discussions at my table about local fishing, bluegill tournament locations (you can reach out to me if you need a spot), a TPFR member going to Iceland, low water, tying materials, Fredericksburg above the bridge, and more. Hope to see more of you in June. 

We tied three types of Clousers. We did a yarn version for gar, a calf tail version for shad, and a classic bucktail.
