South Fork Fly Fishing Tournament - May 30th

Hey everyone -

Thought some of your would be interested in the upcoming South Fork Fly Fishing Tournament on May 30th at Downriver Canoe Company on the Shenandoah and wanted to share some details.

It's the first year of what will hopefully turn into an annual event, and is being hosted in partnership with Shenandoah River State Park to benefit Friends of Shenandoah River State Park and Shenandoah Riverkeepers - both organizations that directly impact the public's ability to recreate on a safe and healthy Shenandoah River. 

Sign in begins at 6:30am at Downriver Canoe with lines in the water from 7:30-2:30pm. It's $50 to enter and you can bring your own canoe/kayak/raft or rent one from the outfitter & take advantage of their shuttle service. 

There are a ton of great prizes across a variety of categories (including a weekend half-day float trip with me), but it's also just a great opportunity to connect with other local anglers, share some fish stories, and enjoy the beauty of the South Fork.
