At the end of last week Art Noglak and I made the 5 hour drive up to the West Branch of the Delaware River to meet Dan Davala for some fishing...and general shenanigans. We were successful in both endeavors. This was my first experience fishing the Delaware and it lived up to the chatter of being a fishery that had big, smart browns and lots of bugs. We stayed at the West Branch Angler which is a full service lodging operation perfectly situated on the West Branch. We had an absolutely amazing time casting at finicky trout and simply carrying on. I highly recommend a trip up that way.
