This is just a reminder that we will have a booth at the Jim Range
National Casting Call at Fletcher's Boathouse http://www.nationalcastingcall.com/
today and tomorrow (4/26-4/27). Today is the Family and Youth Casting
Call, http://www.familyandyouthcastingcall.com/ from 11:00am-4:00pm
so please consider coming out and sharing your passion for fly fishing
with a child that's eager to learn. This is one day they all come to
us, so let's take advantage of it. Tomorrow is the National Casting
Call, and there will be opportunities to meet and swap fish tales with
some very influential people from Capitol Hill. If you can make it to
either event, just look for the FFF banner at our booth and introduce
yourself, and help us make the most of this event taking place on our
home water.

It was fun meeting you and Bert at the Family and Youth Casting Call
yesterday at
Fletcher's Boathouse. You had a great booth showing kids how to tie
flies, talking to
folks about Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders, Orvis and having Bert show
several of us the
basics about casting your two handed flyrod.

Please let me know further how the National Capital Chapter of TU
(http://www.ncc-tu.org)
might help you get your FFF group started. I have already listed you
and Bert on our email
list and will put the word out about your group.

I spoke to Bert about our annual National Capital Angling Show at
Georgetown Prep
in Rockville and we are hoping the Tidal Potomac FRs will take one of
the free booths
we offer fellow non-profits. Next year the date will be Saturday,
March 13. I am mailing you

It was great to see everyone out there. Dan and Bert were out of
context for me as I've never seen them outside of the shop before :)

On a sad note, there is now a potential 2nd drowning from the incident
at chain bridge from sunday.
