rod building tools

Hi Guys, thinking of trying to build up a rod, looking at kits the dryers, reamers, and guide wrappers seem very expensive, I'd like to try to build something before I invest in all of them, does anyone in the area have a tool set they wouldn't mind renting or loaning?

Look at Proof fly fishing...Matt is a great resource. Just go through him and order a set of tools. His videos offer step by step instructions that helped me walk through my first two builds.

You could also look at the fly rod kits by Epic.  Cost $400 for the kit and come with all the materials/tools you need.

Drop me a note.  I have more than you need, but all you need to get started is a cardboard box, a book and a coffee cup. (well, reaming cork might require a file).

I have lots of useful and not so useful suggestions, but I will keep them in private email :)
