New to Fly Fishing in DC Area

Very glad to find this group.  I am a relatively new fly angler and a life long angler using spin casting reels.  Started fly fishing last year and have fished Idaho, Missouri and Arkansas.  Now it is time to start fishing at home.  I live in Alexandria and would like to meet local fly fishers, anglers, guides or friends who can show me the local ropes.  I hope to meet and go fishing this coming weekend April 19 - 20 if possible.

Right now you should head over to Fletcher's Boathouse and talk to Dan or Alex if you like to fish for shad and stripers.
