What Tidal Basin has to offer....

I have fished at Tidal Basin last weekdays after work for an hour or two.

They're are there as usual.

Nice Todd- Lots of species available.  Yesterday at the sailing marina I caught a nice catfish (put up a good fight on  six weight); some fat bluegills and a white perch.

Nice fish and nice pictures, as always, Todd.  What kind of fish is that in the first picture (the one with the Washington Monument and your outfit)?

Rob,

Where are the blue catfih this year?

I remember catching a lot of them on streamer last year, but I haven't got any of them yet.

I use six weight too, It works for me for bluegill to a carp.

Todd,

I think you might be looking at a different picture than the one Greg
is referencing. I believe he is talking about IMG_5144, which has the
Washington Monument in the background (not the one with the
smallmouth). I'm interested to know what kind of fish that is also.

Wes, That was a White Perch, There are lots of them in basin now.

I caught them up to a Lb.
