Hi All,
I'm heading out to Redmond, WA for some business and was going to add on an additional 1/2 - day of fishing. There was a little bit of discussion 5-6 years ago on the forum about Seattle, but nothing recent, so I figured I'd refresh the topic.

Does anyone have any recommendations on locations? or guides they've liked?

Thanks!

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I am from Issaquah, WA (short distance from Redmond) but am in DC currently on family vacation. When will you be in WA? The fishing right now isn't great... steelhead and salmon runs have been low. Winter steelhead is just winding down. For trout fishing, the Yakima is usually good but recent reports have it blown out. I've heard searun cutthroat have been good from shore in the salt.

Let me know your dates. Maybe I can show you something. Also, if you are availablw in the next couple days to show mw how to fish the Potomac, I'd appreciate it. I just really need to know where to access it. I brought my 7wt spey.

You can access the Potomac at Fletchers Cove or Chain Bridge (about a mile away).  There is shore access at both spots and you can rent a boat at Fletchers.
