[Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders]

This is the message board for the Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders (TPFR) fishing club, an Fly Fishers International charter club, made up of Washington DC area fly anglers that call the Tidal Potomac River home. Rules

1. No profanity, racism, and personal attacks will be tolerated. 

2. No buying, selling, or trading is allowed. Go to our buy-sell-trade google group to do this; please note that no posts on this google group are allowed to link or mention your posting on this buy-sell-trade group.

3. No commercial or self-enriching posts are allowed, to include links to businesses where you are employed or get any kick backs (affiliate links, commissions, etc.).

4. An exception to the commercial posting policy is the advertising of free, fishing events by commercial businesses are allowed. Before posting about an event like this, please e-mail any club officer to clear the post.

5. Feel free to promote events from other non-profit fishing groups here.

6. Have fun! If you don't enjoy fishing, reading about fishing, and sharing information about fishing, go elsewhere.

Searching and Finding Information

This message board is equipped with a powerful search feature that will quickly pull up any post from our archives. Literally thousands of topics have been covered here in detail, so please familiarize yourself with this excellent resource. Attaching Pictures

To attach pictures on the initial post, simply email the group at: tidal-potomac-fly-rodders@googlegroups.com and attach your photos to the message just as you would on any regular email. If you want to attach pictures to an ongoing thread, reply to the last message of that thread from your inbox and attach the pictures the same way. If you only receive "Digest Email" or "No Email", log in here, find the post you wish to add photos to, and forward that post to your email address. When the forwarded post comes to your inbox, reply to it and attach your photos as you would a normal email. It is best to resize the pictures to about 800X600 so you can attach as many as you want without exceeding the attachment size limit.
