Salmon River NY

Made it up to Salmon River despite the poor reports.  It was HOT and SLOW.  We were lucky enough to hook up about half a dozen times and landed two in the two days we fished there.  Most of the action came in early morning or evening.  We went to find better things to do during the heat of the day.  Anyway, it was still fun being out on the water and being reminded what a 25 - 30 pound king salmon can do to your tackle!  Can't wait to get back there Columbus Day weekend.  The salmon will be in there by then along with the steelheads!

Nice! Where did you find them? A group of us are headed up there week after next? Curious if any have made it to the FFO sections.

We fished Ballpark.  I heard a few made it to trestle but I didn't look.  I did look at FFO and didn't see anything.  They should be up there in a couple of weeks with cooler temperatures.
