NCC-TU Shad Night / Assorted NCC-TU news

Hey there TPFRers,

Wanted to let everyone know that the National Capital Chapter of Trout Unlimited will be hosting our annual Shad Night this upcoming Tuesday, February 7th. Event details are available at our website: http://www.ncc-tu.org/ or our facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/750162895150577/

Mark Binsted from Fletcher's, whom many of you know, and one of our board members, has been instrumental in putting this all together. Kathleen McNamee from the DC Department of Energy and Environment will be presenting on the biology of Hickory Shad and the work that the DC DOEE has done in helping improve the annual shad run. We will also have shad fly tying demonstrations as well as some blind auction items.

I was asked to tie my shad flies at the meeting so thought I would get a start today.
