First time shad fishing, ½ mile up from Fletchers Sat & Sun mornings starting at 7am.  Great fun.  Great. Fun.  Didn't need a 7wt, but that was the smallest sink line I had.  Went to Orvis Tysons Friday, for flies and info.  Talk to Art (?).  Was just like he said.  Fished one spot on Saturday for about 2 hours, 9 fish (1 Hick, rest American), another 90 minutes Sunday up down the bank, not quite as many.
