Thank you to everyone who came out last night for a great time at BEER TIE!  We had a total of 38 people at my last count, and we raised over $170 in hat, fly and raffle sales.  A huge thank you goes out to Richie and Urban Angler for donating the tube fly kit, which made the raffle such a success!  Many people took turns at the Beginner Table tying a Rabbit Strip Leech, and there was a variety of other flies tied around the room as well.  As always, it is a pleasure to see everyone gather for food, drink and the common passions of tying, fishing, and camaraderie.  Most importantly, is it a blessing to watch relationships begin and grow.  I love visiting people around the room who are swapping stories, sharing "secrets", and showing pictures.  Smiles and laughter always abound!

We hope to see many of you out for the next BEER TIE, scheduled Monday, December 12th. We're adding in a little Christmas party to the mix!  Details will be posted soon.

Cheers,

Melody Davala:)

Love the picture - fly on beer!! It would be fun to watch "fish on"  if it ties to tippet/lead/rod and have someone to be hooked!

Great seeing you all there.  A big thank you goes out to Mike Flint as well for bringing about 3 pounds of feathers (pheasant and turkey) from a recent hunt and generously making them available to all members free of charge.  A lot of folks went home with some great new tying materials as a result.  Thanks again to everyone who made it out!
