I will be filming a short documentary with some friends on the Lake Ontario tributaries in Western New York Columbus Day weekend to give some exposure to what fishing up there has become. I'm sure many of you have been up there to fish Eighteen mile creek or Oak Orchard and have been frustrated and annoyed at how the fishery is managed, or not managed, with the vast majority of fish being snagged, the shoulder to shoulder fishing, and frequent apathy of the DEC towards the situation. We are hoping to give this some exposure and spread awareness in order to get a conversation started that could lead to reforms in the area and make it a better destination fishery.
We are looking for for someone to help with filming/production as we don't have a producer yet. Any help would be much appreciated, even if its just a suggestion for someone to contact.
Thanks all
