Hey All,

I am looking for some info and perhaps a bit or reassurance in my sanity. I was fishing the VA side of Chain Bridge this AM and the shad action was on. I was using a pink and chartreuse clouser with a silver dart dropper. I hooked into what I thought was a nice striper which turned out to be a double set. 17' shad on the closer and a TROUT on the dropper? I'm having a hard time believing my eyes. Does anyone know what is going on here? Pic attached

Awesome! There are a few streams that they stocked for some kids fishing Derbys near by. I bet it got in that way.

Yeah man that's an invasive species . These trout get into the Potomac and eat up all the emerging caddis and now the catfish will starve to death. Ha ha
