Shenandoah Kayaking for Smallmouth

I'd like to float the Shenandoah and flyfish for smallmouth.

Is there a shuttle service that will take your car downstream to your takeout point?

If not, is there a good stretch where paddling upstream and then floating back while fishing would work?

I have a 2 person kayak if anyone would want to meet out there and use your car to get us back to mine at the end, or if anyone interested in a mid week float and splitting the guide, that might work as well.

(I'll wear a mask/buff the whole time)

There are a number of canoe rental companies that will shuttle you upriver and float you back to your vehicle.  I personally prefer to fish out of a canoe but a kayak works just as well if your goal is to float from spot to spot and wade.  I have used shenandoah river outfitters and front royal canoe and have no complaints about either, it just depends what section i prefer to fish.

i don't think paddling upriver and floating down is feasible.  There are a couple sections where you might be able to do that but the fishing is poor in both.
