Went to Orlando for work and had enough free time to hit Banana River. Casting into the mangrove I took this 19in snook on a brown over white 2/0 clouser. I was surprised he took a fly this big. Acrobatic fish with some nice runs and jumped 3 or 4 times. Bucket list fish checked off.

Good to see these guys around as it appears that the population is rebounding from the freeze a few years back.

That's great! It looks like I'll be down that way in December. Did you fish from a boat? Shore? Wade? Sounds like there's some great fishing to be had... any and all details will be most appreciated!
