Has anyone got reccomendations for Michigan wading water or small boats?

Fished the pa water thru college a bit and N.Y. some. Now living in KY, so Michigan is closer. I have a 16ft 48 John boat I can drag up there if it's needed. Would prefer wading. Southern Michigan waters.

Pere Marquette in Baldwin is the prettiest stream I’ve seen. It’s narrow in spots and I would not want to float it before having someone local row me through first. Here is Conway Bowman Fishing there:

Muskegon and Big Manistee, farther north Betsie and Platte are wadeable. Frankfort has a good brewery...
