6th Annual 2 Fly 4 Hope Fly Fishing Challenge

Please support our work of offering fly fishing retreats to breast cancer survivors in our community. There will be raffles of several sets of fly fishing equipment, a delicious lunch, and the chance to cheer the teams of anglers as they try to outwit Doug Dear's clever rainbows.

To commemorate our event, Charles Armontrout of Tight Line Custom Rods has built us a gorgeous 8’ 2pc 4wt fly rod. Proceeds of the special raffle will go into our Retreat Equipment Fund. We hope to buy rods and reels for the ladies next year.

Only 100 tickets will be sold, price $10 each. If you cannot attend the event on Oct. 26, and you want to buy tickets, please email caseypeltier at hotmail dot com for details of how you can purchase tickets before the event. Pre-event ticket sales will close at 6:00 PM on Thursday, Oct. 23. The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony on Oct. 26, and need not be present to win.

Folks, we've just had a classic snafu. When I posted the info for the 2 Fly 4 Hope, the web site promptly reduced my announcement to a million symbols that meant nothing. That scary mess embarrassed me completely and I hurried to apologize.

 However, what arrived in the e-mail boxes of all our loyal supporters was a pretty good rendering of what I wanted to say.

So please forgive my "garbage" email, and come on out next Sunday!
