Yes, you read that right Beer Tie, Mon Sep 13

Our new location for the Beer Tie is the Colony Grill in Clarendon.

The address is  2800 Clarendon Blvd #850, Arlington, VA 22201

We will be in the upstairs location at the grill. The grill is right across Clarendon Blvd from the Orvis store. There is a parking garage right next door on North Fillmore St.

It has been a long while since our last Beer Tie, and there are many new people coming to our casting churches, so a bit of refresh on what Beer Tie is.  The Beer Tie is our monthly meeting. It is largely a social meeting. We talk about fishing, and we tie some fly patterns.  And we drink a little beer. This is a great opportunity to get to know a little about flyfishing in the area and meet some fellow enthusiasts. We welcome all, even if you don't yet fly fish but are curious about the sport.

We will have monthly Beer Ties. The schedule is the second Monday of the month. Upcoming dates are:

13 Sep, 11 Oct, 8 Nov, 13 Dec

Covid safety: Recognize that we are in a social situation, and many will be eating and drinking, and so many will be unmasked. Right now, there is no requirement by Colony Grill or Virginia to be masked. However, if you are ill or suspect you might be, please respect the health of others and rest up at home. The Beer Ties are monthly so there will be other opportunities to participate.

Well, if you want to participate in some fly tying, bring your mobile tying kit.

Other than that, just bring yourself.
