That show has not happened in quite a few years.  I ask one of the show management (in Somerset last Sat.) why they stopped and he said something vague about the venue.  I always thought it was a good show.

The Fly Fishing Show used to come to College Park at U of Maryland. I attended there in 2000 through '02 or '03 and then it went away. I spoke with Chuck Furimsky or Barry Serviente or Gerri Serviente the year they didn't return to College Park and I was told that they folded that location because the exhibitors weren't happy with sales/attendance, etc. About 3 years ago they did the show in King of Prussia and then moved it to Lancaster in the subsequent 2 years, so I think the 2014 show will be their 3rd in Lancaster. I like the Lancaster location: it's closer than King of Prussia and downtown Lancaster is less of a navigational hassle, IMO, but then again I like many of those funky old PA towns. Besides, the Lancaster Central Market offers some good eats and Amish fruit/veg/butcher stands. (think small version of Philly's Reading Market)
