Club casting will be this Saturday morning at Fletcher's from 8-10 a.m.

We will have several instructors around to help out. I will bring several extra two handed rods and skagit lines.

I would bring some kind of eye protection, and waders are a good idea if you want to get in the river.

Hi John -- I didn't think I'd be able to make this one, but I believe I can actually....so hope to see you guys there!

I may wade a bit to work on my roll cast -- I definitely need it.

Thanks,
Gene

Wish I could make this.  My casting could use some work.  Unfortunately, the next few weekends are just going to be crazy.

John,
Thanks for the Saturday offering.  Unfortunately, my daughter and I are going to be up in Pennsylvania this weekend for a retreat.  We'll be working in some trout fishing before and after if the weather holds out.  One of these days we will make it to Fletcher's for a club casting day.

Jeff

Hi John,

I'd like to join you guys this Saturday. I would like to learn some Spey casting techniques for my single hand rod...
Best regards,
Ken

SUPER EXCITED I can make it to this one!  Looking forward to teaching with you once again John.  I am happy to help with whatever you need and I am looking forward to seeing many TPFRers on the River this Saturday morning!  I believe a few more of our FFF Instructors may be coming as well, so it stands to be a great time of teaching, sharing, and learning.  See you all there!

To echo Dan... I'm psyched I can finally make it out to one of these!  My fiance (Katie) and I will be there at 8AM sharp.  Katie's had some professional instruction, but she's only been on the water a handful of times since she first picked up the fly rod last year.  I could use some work on distance.  I feel like I do too much work when it comes to my double haul.  There's gotta be a way to be more efficient.  I'm sure you guys can help.  Looking forward to it...

I'm going to try to make it as well. I'd love some pointers on double hauling as well and generally sucking less.

I am stoked I can make this one as well! No worries Brian, they use to call me "No Haul" Jones. Grab me or any of the instructors and lets see if we can work on that double haul.

Looks like I'll be able to make it out to this one.  I'd like to work on some single-hand spey techniques as well.  I really wouldn't mind it if I never false casted a top and bottom indicator rig again.  See you guys in the AM.

Steve.

Derrrrnnnnn!  I'm unable to make this one after all -- gotta get to the airport to pick up my wife earlier than expected.  I was hoping to meet some of you folks, but I'll have to try to make the next one....possibly with my wife as well!

Thanks,

Gene

Glad I could make it to this one, and happy to report that even the instructors pick up some tips, such as how to make a Black and Blue:

Pretty tasty, but I think the sum is lesser than it's parts.
