The Legends of the Fly organization is hosting their first tournament from Sept 30 - Oct 1st. It's a team tournament with a slam division as well as categories for biggest flounder, speck and red. I know there are quite a few saltwater anglers on this board so I figured I'd post about it. I could not think of a better time to come down to the area to fish and it's a perfect opportunity to meet more people in Virginia who fish salt.
The speck bite has turned on pretty heavily over the past week and the past few weeks has been incredible for reds. I don't see it slowing down in the near future (until mid-october).
Hopefully I will see a few TPFR entries!
