CASTING CHURCH - Sun 11 Sep

Second Sunday of the month coming up, and so we will have our casting get together on Sunday, 11 September at Fletcher's Cove from 8am to 11am. 

This Church will be free form, just working on whatever people would like.

Additionally, we will work on FFI Casting Skills challenges for anyone interested.

Come on out, whether you are a novice, intermediate, or advanced caster, it is all fun to work on solving casting problems and casting challenges, particularly for shad.

If you are just getting started, this is a great way to meet people who can help.  There will be casting instructors on hand.

If you are preparing for an upcoming trip and looking to re-fresh your casting skills, this is a great opportunity.

Well, the heavy rain kept the attendance low.  Only I and Owen were there, and we called it at 8:30am.

I did get in some two-hand work, prior to 8, in the rain.  Reminded me of pretty much every trip I have had to the Salmon River in New York.

I saw your Salmon River reference.  I booked a STLHD trip for the Salmon the last week of November.  Any local eatery recommendations?  Coffee options look slim.  Dunkin, McDonalds, and Circle K?

Hey Regan and all,

I booked at STLHD trip on the Salmon River on the last week of November.  I looked at G-Maps for coffee place suggestions and received Circle K and Dunlin as suggestions.  Anyone have any restaurant and coffee snob recommendations?

An excellent place for coffee and breakfast, Steph's Place.   It is the only place I go to for breakfast and coffee.
