Lock 8 Today?

I'm thinking of wade/shore fishing in the Lock 8 area, near cabin john, on the Maryland Side. The little river gauge is about 3.5 now and expected to remain there over the weekend.
I have not been there before.
Can anyone advise me on whether or not it is wade-able there now and if so, where should I wade it for a few hours? If not, where would I shore fish this area?
Would anyone like to join me?
If there is no point in trying this spot with the water at the current level...is there a better place to wade fish for bass this evening and Saturday?

There will be some spots you can wade but my personal limitation is 3
feet and the flow has to be less than 10000 CFS
With a lower flow and 3 feet at little falls last summer I was able to
wade from turkey run park across to lock 8. Just use common sense.
Also, let us know how you do.
