I've gotten a few in Neabsco Creek, where the water treatment plant pushes warm water out.

I can pretty much count on "as many as I want" at the other local discharge, but those are mostly little ones. 

The places I like to go that tend to have larger fish will not generally have them for another month.

Bass are starting to move on to flats and make beds. I have caugh a few in the 2+lb range on white clouser and deceivers. Find the warmest water and that is where they will be.

Something to keep in mind,

There are places where a lot of folks in the region are fishing and wading directly on to bass beds.  If you can’t see the bottom from now thru May, chances are you’re stepping on redds.  If you see a clearing in an area, it’s most likely a nest.  

We can debate the morality of fishing for bedding fish another time, but I’ve witnessed far too many people walking thru areas that have historically held spawning bass.
