Hey All,

Would any one be interested in doing a Salmon River trip in early November for Steelhead Trout and Lake Run Browns. And splitting transportation & lodging costs ?  I work most Fridays and Saturdays. So either leaving on Sunday and returning several days later or going some time during the week. I attached a few pic from Nov 6th & 7th on a  Salmon River trip in 2011.

Nice fish porn, Vo. In 1_Vo 2 015.JPG you look as if you're waiting for the game warden put the cuffs on or thinking "that guy over there has a lot of nerve catching a bigger one than mine.". ;-)

No on either scenario..
I was trying to hold the fish still for the pic without harming the fish. Before releasing it. All the  fish were  extremely squirmy

Mark,

That would be impossible seeing as how NY state seems disinterested in paying for the appropriate number of DEC officers to be staffed.

I don't know if it is that or just a case of them not really want to catch anyone.  The snagging industry brings a lot of money into pulaski.

Well that's certainly the case on the Potomac during the shad run, not to mention all the littering by slobs.

I feel bad for Vo that we got off the topic of this thread. It's unfortunate that most of the major Lake Ontario tribs are so crowded, because they really are wonderful places to fish when you have some space (and they're not all like that).

Vo, I hope you can find some folks, and hook into some fat kings, steelhead, and browns this year! I was just up near the Burt Dam and Oak Orchard and it's still pretty slow. What fish have come up are stacked up at the dams.

Vo, I was up there this past Sunday. Fished the upper fly zone.  Saw plenty of fish but no hookups, not too crowded at UPF.  Wish I could go with you but bad timing for me.  Good luck.

Vo,

I'd love to join you but unfortunately weekdays don't work for me. If we could do 6 7 8 than I'm in.
Do you swing flies for steel?
