Backwater Tarpon fishes right near the San Juan Airport, super convenient. While I was skunked, I had a great time. I did hook a couple but blew the hooksets. I think most of the tarpon are on the smaller side, but tons of them about. They mainly fish bait but have a couple of guides that will take you fly fishing. There are some other guides that operate out of the same area too.
