Would you guys be kind and tell me of places to fish after dark. I hate fishing in the evening and looking at my watch to make sure they don't close the gates on me! Preferably in the Northern Virginia area. And please don't mention Burke Lake (I hate that lake).

While the C&O officially closes at dark, the parking lots on the Clara Barton Parkway don't have gates.  I've pushed it to last light and hiked out in the dark before.

Often you just need a little ingenuity in finding a parking spot and alternate access points to the ponds.  Little Seneca Lake in outer Montgomery County is a place like that.  I'm sure they will eventually chase you off, but you won't get locked in, so you can fish until dark.
