Crappie on fly

I had the chance to swing a fly rod in a long time today.

My cast was rusty and ugly......

But, I managed to pull some nice slaps 12" to 14" range at Belle Haven.

Nice!  Caught my first black crappie last Wed at gravelly point.  Saw someone from the club while I was down there, Jeff I think?  He was fishing the outflow with no luck while I fished the docks with no luck.  We spoke as we was leaving, and then I took over his spot.  That was the only bite I had.
