Turkey Hunting & Trout Fishing Combo Trip Anyone ?

Hey All,

                I'm planning on doing several Turkey Hunting & Trout Fishing combo trips later this Spring. I'm primarily planning go the western Maryland : Washington, Allegany and Garrett Counties.

There is lots of land open to public hunting in those counties . And  Fishing streams like the North Branch of the Potomac, Savage River, Sideling Hill Creek, Town Creek,  the Yough  and so on.

Also planning on hitting the Lower Eastern Shore on Chesapeake Bay in Maryland . And doing turkey hunting  &  fishing  combo trips. If anyone would like too join me shoot me an email or talk to me at Beertie  .

I've done a couple blast-n-cast outings over the past few years. I've had some luck with both trout and turkey up near Savage. Had not as much luck in Rapidan WMA in VA. Lots of good public land but boy, mountain turkey are tough to call in.

Hey Vo, I am interested, but would need an out of state hunting and fishing license. I'll look into that.

I've hunted turkeys before without ant luck, but I am fully equipped and camoflage to do it again. I have 2 kayaks with a car carrier.

You and I sat across from each other at the beer tie.

If I go with you, the bar tab is on me... :-)

I checked into the cost for non resident hunting and fishing licenses for Maryland... they are a bit too much. I'm afraid I'll have to pass on the invitation. I appreciate it however, sounds like fun.

Lets hook up for some Shad fishing on the Rap sometime soon, in Virginia..
