My wife noticed it and saved it for me. I read it of course.  When I finished, she asked, "I don't get it.  What does he mean by opening day?"  Made me smile. 

 

She really only knows fishing through our nearly 24 years of marriage and I, of course, fish year 'round. She could not fathom a time when fishing was not year 'round. Funny. But oh yeah, I remember opening day.

I look forward to "Opening Day." It means the baseball is back and that the outfielders are fishing for flies while I'm fishing with flies. Go Nats.
