I saw a sign at the dog park the other day that there was a raw sewage leak into 4MR. Is anyone aware of this / know if this is a current event or old? Looking to go out and fish a bit this afternoon

If it's anything like Rock Creek, there may be sewage released after a heavy rain.
Specifically, though, there was this back in April:

Like, more than the typical combined sewer overflow (CSO event) would be contributing? Was it a newly posted sign?
After a good, hard rain many of the streams (and basically the entire Anacostia River) are essentially a septic line, so I would be curious about what criteria need to be met to actually trigger someone to post a "raw sewage" leak on 4MR.
Thanks for the heads-up! Watch out for poop!

There was also a sewage spill into Doctor's Run (I think that's the right name) a month or two ago. If I got the name of the run wrong, it was definitely a tributary of 4MR. The warning I saw (on ArlNow.Com) didn't warn against any use of 4MR itself.
