Hey -- thanks to Dan and the other folks involved in putting together an excellent tie yesterday evening!  We both really enjoyed listening to and speaking with Beau -- that was a unique experience and really reinforced what a great club TPFR really is.  And since Dan allows me to pay my club dues in cash, in a paper bag behind the Orvis dumpster now, it's really convenient!  

The prac-ti-cat-toy is working out well too -- both of the cats are pretty excited about it ;).

Thanks Gene, and I agree, AWESOME BEER TIE last night!  Thanks again to everyone that came out, it was really great to see you all there. 

BIG thank you to Beau Beasley for coming to talk, he's been wanting to get to one for quite a while now and he was really impressed with the turnout.  Thank you to Rob Snowhite for teaching at the learning table, tirelessly as always!  Thanks to Richie for making an awesome trivia game, and for bringing the prizes as well.  Thanks to everyone who donated raffle items, we had quite the spread for sure.  Thanks to Whitlow's for hosting us and taking good care of everyone, and for bailing me out with a roll of raffle tickets when we sold out of ours.  And thanks to everyone who contributed to the raffle, more to reinvest in the next one! 

It was great to see Brad Gentner for a last hurrah!  We'll miss you buddy, but we hope to see some reports from AZ and other points West, so please drop us a line from time to time.

I will be setting the 2014 BEER TIE dates with Whitlow's soon, and I will post them to the group as soon as they are confirmed.  See you all in the new year if not before!

Just want to echo the others here, Monday was a great Beer Tie. 

Many thanks to Beau Beasley for inscribing his Virginia book and to Rich and Urban Anglers for the gift card. I have it on good authority that Santa will be delivering new wading boots in two weeks.
