Hello,
Former tidal potomac fly rodder looking for some advice. I am probably going to be traveling to San Juan in May for a work trip, and I would like to get a guide to do some fishing. If anyone has any recommendations, that would be great! I'm probably looking to go out for Snook/other saltwater fish, but I know there are also Peacock Bass in the lakes on the island.
Thanks

Posted not to long ago, but there is a Tarpon fishery in San Juan near the airport. I went with Backwater Tarpon based on a former TPFR's advice. While I didn't land any, it was a fun day and saw tons of rolling tarpon. They typically fish bait, but have guides that are well versed in fly fishing. There are snook around there too. There are several guide operations that operate in the same general area.
