Volunteers Needed!

Hello TPFR members! 

The Dept. of Energy & Environment is looking for a few good volunteers to help with the annual Family & Youth Casting Call on Saturday, June 1 from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. The event will be held at the Aquatic Resources Education Center located at 1900 Anacostia Drive, SE in the north end of Anacostia Park. (On weekends visitors must enter the park from the Good Hope Road entrance.) Volunteers can spend the morning and/or afternoon helping us teach the basics of fishing to youth and their families. Full day volunteers will be fed lunch!  I have attached a flyer with more information. Please visit www.doee.dc.gov/arec to register as a volunteer so that we have an accurate headcount for lunch.
