Joanne Feldman, Palm Beach Gardens, FL - "The weaving experience with Hector Surco was the highlight of the trip! Beri was an excellent tour guide. The sites that she scheduled for us to visit on our "day of leisure" included some of the most important sites in Peru."

Jan Rich,Friendswood, TX-The trip to England, December 2023, took us to ALL the most wonderful sites of London, and surrounds. Every detail was carried out seamlessly, and gave me a "Full English" experience. Jim is so much fun, so informative, and definitely shows he cares about your business! All trip participants were delightful people to share this awesome trip with! I could not ask for more out of a trip! Thanks, Jim!
Kathie Chapman,Sequim, WA-As always, this tour was first class all the way. It was wonderful to see all the sights, visit places you've always heard about and meet some wonderful people.
Sandy Bolin-Townes,Ankeny, IA-This was not my first time in Europe but my first time on an organized tour. I wasn't sure if I would like sticking to a schedule every day, but found I really enjoyed not having to worry about anything except showing up on time!
Nancy Petrie,Berryton, KS-This was my first trip to Europe for my sister and myself and it was a trip of a lifetime. Travel to and from Germany was chocked full of issues but Craftours did an excellent job managing us thru all the canceled flights and overnight hotel stay in NYC that wasn't planned. Once we arrived in Salzburg Holly and Sammy, our driver made the tour a full day of wonderful experiences each and every day! I will definitely consider another trip with Craftours in the future!
Lisa Jameson,Little Elm, TX-We had a lovely trip. The destination was beautiful!!! The tour guide, Holly, was knowledgeable and friendly. She engaged with the group in a friendly, informative way. The hotel accommodations were very nice. This was our first Craftours experience and we felt like the schedule/cadence of activities was good, busy, but not crazy. The special things like blowing glass, making strudel and making a craft with Jenny were also enjoyable and unique.
Zerelda Butler,Powder Springs, GA-It was a wonderful tour. Deb Haugen, our Craftours tour guide, took very good care of us in spite of all the weather-related delays and setbacks. I would do it again, obstacles and all, in a heartbeat!
Diane Merrell,Huntersville, NC-It was a wonderful trip. It was all I expected and more. The snow did not stop us and actually added a bit of Christmas scenery to all the beautiful places we went to. Our bus driver, Walter, was wonderful in getting us through the snow and rain to every place we were scheduled to go safely. Ana was wonderful.
Brenda Grow,Huntsville, UT-I loved seeing the Christmas Markets in Austria and Bavaria. They were absolutely magical. Making apple strudel in the bakery was so much fun! Also making the blown glass ornament was something I will always remember. It was so nice to have everything planned and the bus and our driver were excellent. The accommodations were so, so nice.
Denise Holcombe,Richmond, TX-I thought the trip was phenomenal. We covered a lot of ground in Bavaria, saw beautiful scenery and architecture, and were able to travel with a fun group of adventurous people. We had a knowledgeable guide, and an outstanding driver and lots of snow. Perfect!
Jean Isabella,Brooklyn, NY-This was a great experience. I thoroughly enjoyed shopping my brains out at the various markets. I had heard about the Christmas markets a number of years ago and jumped at the chance to do this. The tour schedule was good and varied with enough activities without being too busy. The strudel baking and ornament making were wonderful activities. I plan to make the strudel for my family. The walking tour of Salzburg was fun and informative. Roman, the tour guide, certainly knew his Mozart and "The Sound of Music". The accommodations were comfortable if a bit far from truly easy access to dining alternatives.
Kathy Jans Duffy,Seneca Falls, NY-The trip was well planned, and the activities were very enjoyable. The transportation and accommodations were good. I really enjoyed the group we were with - unfortunately I was not able to get to know all of the ladies, but we did have a great time.
Barbara Moran,Bethlehem, CT-This tour, with help from our guide Alice Ridge, was more outstanding every day. I would return again in a heartbeat. The natural beauty, the old-world elegance, not to mention the shopping and dining opportunities all made for a memorable trip filled with treasured memories.
Cindy Pursley,Newnan, GA-It was everything I hoped for. We saw beautiful towns, wonderful Christmas markets, and were lucky enough to get snow. The hotels were lovely. I hope to visit Hotel zur Post in Ruhpolding again sometime. Rudi and Agnes were wonderful hosts. The restaurant had great food. Jim, as usual, was a fun tour manager. We had so much laughter and fun.
Donita Gentry,Seattle, WA-It was a wonderful trip! Going to the studio that Harry Potter was filmed at was a lot of fun. Highclere was beautiful. We were there when it was all decorated for Christmas, all the trees were so beautiful [decorated with lots of purple ornaments]. Getting to go to Stonehenge was such a treat.
Becky Thompson,La Vernia, TX-This was a bucket list tour for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Starting off each city with a guided bus tour set the stage for all the other days so we knew basically where we were and what we were looking at.
Colleen Eager,Worcester, NY-Absolutely loved it. Harry Potter, Stonehenge. Loved the free time. Enjoyed not having a strict timetable and just going with the flow. Betsy was wonderful, helpful, and friendly.
Gloria Farabaugh,Plano, TX-This trip was my first Craftours adventure and I was not disappointed. Our interpreter was a walking encyclopedia on Portugal and our tour guide was very helpful and accommodating. I learned so much while having a great time.
Ann Rogers,Plainfield, NH-What an amazing trip. Ana was a wonderful tour guide with Maria. We saw so much and had quite a few hands-on experiences. This was one of the best trips we have made.
David Pickering,San Diego, CA-I really enjoyed the tour and Holly Brown, our tour escort. We saw and participated in so many amazing things. The tour was well organized. My only regret was the cancellation of the Milan post tour.
Jill Burrington-Brown,Snohomish, WA-Wonderful trip. It was packed full of fun adventures. I really enjoyed the elephant experience, the monkey forest, and of course, learning how to make batik fabric and taking home my work. Would love to do this again.
Barry Basiliere,San Antonio, TX-Scotland has been a destination that we've wanted to visit for a very long time. Having all the locations that Craftours set up ahead makes the trip seamless. Having first class hotels and private transportation available to us only made the experience that much better.
Melissa Young,Leesburg, FL-It was a lovely trip! Our guide Marco was lots of fun and really knew his history. Each day was a new adventure and coming back to the same hotel each night to talk about what we had seen and learned was a definite plus. Another plus was that we were a small group of 12 so we got to know each other and are now friends on social media. The cooking classes were such fun and I now want to continue with authentic Italian cooking at home.
Mary Purfeerst,Bonney Lake, WA-The Tuscany tour was a wonderful experience - we had 12 people in our group which was the perfect size. We could all watch out for each other. Our guide, Mario, was excellent, very attentive, and very informative.
Lin Beribak,Forest Park, IL-This tour met every expectation, from the stay in the charming town of Montecatini Termi, the hotel, the small group (12) to the tours of walled cities, cooking classes and introductions to varied Tuscan wines. The guide Marco and driver Gianmarco were both excellent.
Lori Park,Los Cruces, NM-The trip of my life. Bali wraps her kindness around you the minute you land. Gentle kindness is their lifestyle. Everything about Bali is over the top in beauty.
Susan Harlan,Wakarusa, KS-The Craftours Bali Experience was just that, an experience! For anyone who loves to participate in or is curious about different types of crafting, this definitely fits the bill.
Ann Murray,Crystal Lake, IL-The Craftours Bali Experience exceeded my expectations. Deb Haugen and Kandi were the perfect guides on our tour of the Island of the gods and the Balinese people and culture. This was both an educational crafting tour and food for the mind/soul. The mix of planned activities and free time was great. We were able to add a meaningful side trip to Pura Tirta Empul and participate in a purification ceremony. Some people from our group also took a side trip to Pura Ulun Danu Bratan. Overall, this trip was absolutely awesome.
Nancy McAfee,Seattle, WA-This Craftours Bali Experience was everything I had hoped it would be and more! We saw Bali tourist sites but also spent time getting acquainted with the day today Bali. The friendly welcoming people in the hotel, the stores, the restaurants, and on the streets made this trip! I learned about the expert craftsmanship and artistry of the wood carvers, silversmiths, ikat weavers, batik makers, painters! The workshops were fun and informative, the staff kind and attentive! We even were able to visit a large local market place for a morning! My biggest takeaway is that every building is repurposed many times over! This is a marvelous recycle of ancient to new! This was a trip of a lifetime for me and I loved it!
