Hello again everyone,
mySociety's summit on pro-democracy technology (
TICTeC 2025) will begin in less than two weeks, and we really look forward to welcoming attendees in Mechelen, and online.
This is a reminder that
registration ends in only a few days time:
- 8th June for in-person attendees
- 9th June for online attendees
Some exciting recent TICTeC programme additions include:
- Panellists confirmed for our main plenary discussions, including:
- Mike Bracken CBE - former Chief Digital Officer of the UK government and founding director of the Government Digital Service (GDS), Mike is a pioneering leader in digital transformation who has reshaped how public services are delivered around the world.
- Martin Tisne - a globally recognized leader in digital rights and open government, known for founding the Open Government Partnership and spearheading initiatives that ensure technology—especially AI—is governed with transparency, accountability, and the public interest at heart.
- Colin Megill, founder of the global recognised online conversation platform Polis, will be unveiling big Polis news during his TICTeC presentation. Don’t miss this exclusive reveal—join us to hear it straight from Colin and get the chance to ask him all your burning questions.
- We're delighted that the City of Mechelen will kindly host TICTeC attendees for a drinks reception at their beautiful and historical City Hall — a landmark steeped in centuries of democratic tradition.
We are able to provide a small number of discounted or free tickets to those who otherwise would not be able to attend. As a small charity with limited resources, we’re unfortunately not able to give away many tickets. To enquire about this, please email
tic...@mysociety.org.
All the best!
Gemma.
