to Parliamentary Monitoring Community of Practice, TICTeC
Hello everyone,

We hope you’re well.

Our next TICTeC community call will focus on practical ways AI tools are being used in parliamentary monitoring and democratic transparency projects.

This will be on 18th December 1pm-2pm GMT, and you can sign up to come along here.

Ahead of the session, we’d love your input on what you’d find most useful for us to cover, what you’re curious to learn more about, and any experiences you’d like to share from your own work with AI.

To contribute, please take a look at this document. It outlines our preliminary plan for the session (which is flexible based on input we receive from you!) and includes a set of questions where your feedback would be especially valuable.

Please feel free to answer the questions listed, add further questions, add comments, examples, experiences, resources, directly in the document.

Your insights will help us shape the session on 18th December, and will also feed into the research report we’re preparing on the state of pro-democracy tech worldwide, to be published at the end of this year or early 2026.

Thank you, and we hope to see many of you on 18 December!

You’re also very welcome to reply directly to this email with any thoughts or questions.

NB: the session on 18th December will also be recorded and we’ll share it here, on our YouTube channel and on the TICTeC Knowledge Hub. You can also catch up with previous community sessions here.

Thanks, and all the best!

Gemma and Alex.
