I just updated and upgraded the newly backed image. What is it that goes wrong? And is there a way to fix it?

On the old image I used the armEL version but that also seems not to work anymore and does not have my preference.

@StephanF, after a lot of testing we have a path to supporting the new Bookworm OS, however we will not be able to implement it until next year, 2024. For now our recommendation is to delay upgrading to Bookworm if possible.

We really need this to be fixed we have a large network of nodes across several networks and moving it all over to tailscale will be a mission please fix this asap. We really love hamachi but this needs to be sorted out

Mate thx for the fix my internet in games was so bad I went from gigabit 0 ping to damm like 100 ping the last time this happened I had to reinstall everying from a factory reset this fix I'm gonna keep in a txt file if you don't mind

My cousing had been troubleshooting this for a few days and after starting to get involved in the troubleshooting the same problem occured on my main computer as well. There was no chance to increase the download above 1.3MBs (got 200/200 connection), unless downloading from a service that uses swarm tech (i.e Steam, Origin etc).

After backtracking we came back to Hamachi and this thread. We finally found the solution that worked for us. It seems installing Hamachin changes the TCP Global Parameters. To check/fix this, do the following:

Receive-Side Scaling State & Receive Window Auto-Tuning Level. Recieve-Side Scaling State was set to 'disabled' and Recieve Window Auto-Tuning Level was set to 'disabled'

I have no idea why Hamachi changes these parameters on some/all computers? When we checked other hosts in our network running the same OS without hamachi these parameters where unchanged and download speed OK.

This seems to be a bug (or feature?) that other people, including myself, have had. My Internet speed before installing is 200. After installing is 50. After UNINSTALLING is still 50. You have to manually un-do the changes made to your computer that Hamachi made.

I REALLY wish that LogMeIn support would chime in officially regarding this. I have not contacted them myself, but someone else in that thread did, and they reported that support would not acknowledge it.

I apologize for the delays, and expect the next version to have native API calls instead of netsh background configurations. Until that time (as mentioned previously), you can run the following commands to resolve:

I think Hamachi are aware. One of my mates also posted the problem/solution on the forums, and if I remember correctly, he got an answer from one of the Hamachi employees stating they would fix it in some upcoming release. I believe, this was a few weeks ago (and pretty long after we posted).

I worked for me too, thanks a lot but the upload speed got cut in about half after I applied the netsh commands. If there is a fix for this asw please tell us, if not i guess we`ll just have to wait for the next update.

hello there, i live in egypt and hamachi was working for a few months, today the ip address in hamachi is 0.0.0.0 and when i try to connect,it says (Failed To Connect To The Hamachi Servers, would you like Hamachi To Automatically monitor server availability and establish a connection as soon as possible?)

LogMeIn Hamachi for Linux is a secure VPN client for Linux that offers connectivity to your resources from dispersed environments. Unlike Hamachi for Windows/Mac, the Linux client uses the command line and offers a relatively limited set of features. For details, check the Hamachi User Guide.

The beta release of LogMeIn Hamachi is available for Linux with ARM support. Make sure that you have an ARMv4T or better processor and tun/tap driver installed before running Hamachi for Linux with ARM support.

We're interested in your feedback. Once you've tried the client, please let us know about your experience at hamachi-...@logmein.com. Your feedback will help define the priorities of further development of the product.

For a very brief time in my early twenties, I worked in a sushi bar in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Don't worry, this isn't a story of air-mailed, flash-frozen fish gone awry, nor is it a tale of a desert seafood-eater's existential crisis. I just want to make sure you know that you might be missing out on one of the best parts of the fish: the collar.

In this sushi bar, the hamachi kama (or yellowtail collar in English) was reserved for friends of the owner, kind regulars and very, very lucky, well-behaved employees. It also quickly became my favorite thing in the restaurant immediately after I tasted it. Don't let the name scare you. The hamachi collar (like on all fish) refers simply to the section just behind the head and gills. If you are not squeamish about seeing fish being butchered, you should absolutely check out this fantastic video of a tuna fisherman breaking down the collars on a yellowtail. As he says, "best part of the fish, right there."

Why is the collar so good? I can't tell you scientifically. I suspect that it has to do with the use of the muscles in that part of the fish, as well as the fact that it is one of the only pieces of fish that ever gets cooked on the bone, which is well-known to make everything taste better. The meat is sweet, tender, full of rich flavor and especially juicy. Hamachi kama is also good for you, since you can cook it with no added fat whatsoever -- it tastes best simply grilled, with at most a sprinkling of salt, soy and citrus. Eating the collar of the fish is also pretty green of you, considering that it uses a part of the fish that a lot of unaware eaters would consider scrap.

Hamachi kama is hard to find in restaurants, partially because it is scarce (there are only two collars on a fish) and partially because cooks are smart and they save the best parts for themselves. If you are in a Japanese restaurant and you see it on the menu, you would be laughing in the face of enjoyment and good flavor to not order it. They still might not have any left, but you always have to ask. Like the satisfaction that comes from picking the turkey carcass on Thanksgiving, eating a hamachi collar is an exercise in patience, rewarding those dextrous enough to dig in with chopsticks or brash enough to use their fingers. Don't miss it. I promise you won't regret it.

As the title says, trying to run a Hamachi network setup in Gateway mode. The computer that I have designated as the gateway, however, is getting an APIPA address (169.254.x.x). In truth I'm not entirely sure how this system is intended to work, so I'm not sure if its the fault of my DHCP server on my router or if it's a fault on Hamachi's side.

Just figured it out, for anyone else who has this issue in the future. Not entirely sure why this was the case, but it seems that Hamachi didn't automatically bridge the Hamachi network adapter to my network connection (in this case ethernet). From guides and others experiences it had seemed that this would be automatic. Maybe it is for most, but if that's the case I'm not sure why it didn't do that for me. Possibly I have another network adapter that threw it off? Not sure. All I had to do was go into the adapter settings, go to the Hamachi Bridge adapter, and manually select my Ethernet adapter to bridge to the Hamachi adapter.

Hamachi should configure the Network bridge automatically, but there is a bug (a timing issue) in the live version. The bug is already fixed, but we still have to run it through the QA cycle before the release.

Note: Hamachi creates the bridge between the "Hamachi - xxx" adapter and the physical one the computer is accessing the Hamachi servers by default. It can also be changed in the override config for those special cases where the selection of the physical adapter this way is not appropriate. So the number of the network adapters should not confuse the algorithm.

I'm a GoTo Colaborator and I had a customer running into this issue: "Cannot establish a hamachi gateway. Have tried three different computers on the domain. After adding the client, I have gone into adapter settings and bridged the ethernet port to the Network Bridge which is also bridged to the Hamachi-XXX-XXX device. I always get a gray bar in the hamachi console and if I try to enable it I get 'hamachi is not allowed to function as a gateway on this machine'. If I configure it as a hub/spoke networks, it works without issue, but that is not what I need. Do you have any clue on what could be causing this issue? Or have you seen this before? Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!

I am running Haguichi on Linux Mint 14 (Cinnamon), and running from the GUI tells me "Hamachi is not installed". I've copied the menu to desktop or panel for instance, same results. But when I run from command line, no sudo or anything, just haguichi, it runs fine and I see my networks nodes.

Following up, I ran haguichi debug to see what would happen. It does seem a little slow to reconnect and join the network, but it's also running in a VM. Not sure why. It does eventually connect. Part of my confusion is knowing what to expect in a healthy working condition. Now Haguichi joins the network, whereas it wouldn't do that or would show Hamachi not installed when it is. How do I get Haguichi to start automatically, perhaps even as a service, unattended?
