Strange days, indeed

Hi all,

I remember thinking in early March that it was going to be an extremely tough 2-3 weeks without Ultimate during the covid lockdown, but certainly by April we’d be able to play again.

Well, here we are, hoping that we can maybe possibly return to play next April. Maybe.

We know a lot more about covid transmission than we did in March, and socially distant, low-density outdoor activities are probably fairly low on the risk scale. That means that pickup is still off the table, but several people have asked about finding someone to throw with.

If you are interested in finding a throwing partner (or partners), send me a note and I’ll send out a message to everyone who opted in so you can make what arrangements you like. 

I really, really recommend caution. This wave of infections is going to get much worse before it gets better. Make sure that the people you make an arrangement with are of like mind with regard to covid precautions, and keep a safe distance apart when you meet. Consider wiping down discs with disinfectant and clean hands before and after throwing.

Stay safe. Be there when the games resume.
