Virtual Sailor NG in an excellent nautical simulator, having excellent marine dynamics,this simulator allows you sail where ever you wish, to explore and customize your boatsand to train yourself on all forms of virtual-sailing, boat simulator or ship simulator.
Virtual Sailor NG was created by Ilan Papini, first version released on June 2021.
Virtual Sailor NG brings the best of my experience in developing marine simulators, this experience began with the development of Virtual Sailor in the year 2001,later continued with Vehicle Simulator in the year 2009, Fire Flight in 2017,and finally Virtual Sailor NG in 2021.
The program combines the best and most accurate physical models of vehicle dynamicsand ocean waves simulation, and is based upon the innovative physical elements methoddeveloped for Vehicle Simulator.
The program uses its own graphic engine,its netowrking library is based upon the ENet library using fast and reliable TCP/IP.
All scenery and vehicles developed over the years for Virtual Sailor and Vehicle Simulatorare fully working in VS_NG, and additional in game scenery design has been added.

VR Dashboard allows automated transfer of your boat position(s) from a third-party online regatta game to the zezo.org virtual sailor weather router.In addition, it - logs your boat position and other boat and race parameters- displays infos about your friends and opponent's boats- outputs NMEA messages containing boat position, speed and heading, as well as wind speed and direction- logs raw messages USAGE1) Install the extension2) Go to the game home page3) Click the Z extension icon in the toolbar4) DO NOT close the debugger warning banner5) Log in to VR Offshore and select a race. Vs.exe, Virtual Sailor 7.exe, Virtual Sailor.exe, virtual-sailor-7.0.0.2.exe or Vs 2.exe are the common file names to indicate the Virtual Sailor installer.

It is integrated with the latest technology of DirectX9 that are available in 3D graphics. Due to this we are able to have multi- players and dynamic sound effects. They are the games which have advance themes and very simple to use in dynamic virtual environment. Since these have 3D instrument panel for all their sail boats, you can feel it as very interactive while playing. The virtual ambience is so realistic that at times it looks like you are watching a video on You Tube.
Virtual sailor game can be played online with other players where you can take part in virtual racing events. This game is so amazing because it allows one to immerse in a sea environment without going to sea.
Since 2007, there has been no new version of the program and the developers have instead focused their attention on vehicle simulator, an addition that is backwards compatible with Virtual sailor. There is no information on development of virtual sailor 8.
