But I can't find orca.msi or orca.exe anywhere on my machine. Is this tool no longer packaged with the Windows SDKs? Do I need to install one of the older Windows SDKs as well? Is there an optional Visual Studio 2015 component that I can install to get Orca?

An MSDN page for orca.exe eventually leads me to a download page for Microsoft Windows SDK for Windows 7 and .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. Is this the most recent SDK which includes orca.msi, or can it be found in newer SDKs such as the Win7/.NET4.0 or Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 SDKs?

It turns out that the Windows 10 SDK can install orca (though the file is now named orca-x86_en-us.msi) but it is not installed by default when you install the SDK via the Visual Studio installer. It is an optional component of the SDK, and the Visual Studio 2015 installer does not offer any control over which SDK components are installed. You have to separately run the SDK installer to install the component which contains Orca.

Not sure what orca is but from the looks of it all you're trying to do is add the executable to your PATH environment variable. Basically what that does is just adds the full location to your program so you don't have to specify the full location when running commands.

To set the path from CMD I think you need to use setset PATH=%PATH%;C:\Users\my_pc\AppData\Local\Programs\orca\It basically means set the path variable to whatever it currently is plus this new thing. Which is what you would want, you almost definitely don't want to override the full path.

Our MST files for office 2003 (v11.0) contains an old exchange server address. I've downloaded the Microsoft SDK, and ran Orca to open the MST files for both Office and Outlook.Opening and editing them went fine, but upon save I notice that my newly saved MST file was 5KB, where the original file is around 58KB.
In Orca, I can spot no difference between the newly 5KB MST and the old 58KB, but upon replacing the MST files on the server for remote installation, new windows clients no longer gets neither Office nor Outlook installed.

It's pretty obvious that the file somehow gets corrupted/incomplete, so my question is:

How can I successfully open and edit the MST files, in order to save them with all data needed to allow new clients to not only have office and outlook installed, but have the correct server address for the exchange server?

I ABSOLUTELY love these! We bought them for our little shop to brighten up the place and make it fun for our customers. We have seven windows and put different sea animals around the store for a great summer theme. They are so intriguing to look at and fun for our customers to sit at our windows, eat their frozen yogurt, and enjoy the unique experience. I will be buying more soon and change it up for each season!

Sometimes calculations fail because there are files from a previous orca run in the folder and then orca tries to read from them, but actually you just want to start a totally new calulation, so those files have to be deleted manually beforehand!

Hi list,
after continuing problem with running Orca on Plinuxos Gnome 2009 TR6 I decided to switch to Opensuse. I downloaded and installed Opensuse 11.1.
All looked good but according to my sisters observations Orca seem to be a little slow. I disabled (I hope) Beagle but with no effect. In previous system she had set Orca to read separate letters, and Orca was able to read them in real-time while writing in Leafpad, or Writer. Here is it not possible. I tried it and the Leafpad (or Gedit) window remain blank while writing amd Orca is trying to read it and apparently has problems, after Orca completes reading, the text is shown in text editor window. I looks like the text is load in some buffer. After disabling this feature, Orca reads OK but also is not so quick - for example when browsing the files in nautilus or on desktop.
There is also some delay when switching the windows with Alt + TAB.

Hi @AngusVeitch1
It looks like it cannot find mkdir, which is a standard windows command. Maybe you have to add more directories in your R-script (like C:\Windows\system32)?
You might even have to copy the complete PATH directly into the R-script?

To set a keyboard command for turning off and on Orca, go to the Keyboard Shortcuts preferences under Hardware preferences. You can also set the capslock, Windows, Alt, and other keys to act as other keys, like having the Capslock as an additional control. If you close a program, like VLC, and accessibility seems to freeze, press Insert + H, then F2 to bring up an accessible window. You may close the screen reader shortcuts afterwards. If Orca becomes unresponsive, restart it by opening the Run dialog, typing "orca -r", and pressing Enter.

Steps to reproduce:1. Install Ubuntu MATE 20.10 or 21.042. Wait for login screen and notification bell3. Press ++ to enable orca screenreader4. Press ++ to disable orca screenreader(5). cycle between 3 and 4Expected results:* orca reader...

I have been using Cura exclusively for the last eight years and was getting frustrated with the UI slowing down and hanging since version 5 on windows PC's and sticking to Windows since I use Fusion 360 for designing/drawing
.
I saw another video referencing Orca slicer recently discussing Bambulab vs Creality K1 MAX and decided to gave Orca slicer a try and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. The current quality issues I was experiencing printing with black PETG disappeared with the default profile for Creality PETG in Orca, even before I stated fine tuning
