Hi TICCIH members
This item came from Australia ICOMOS and may be of particular interest to TICCIH members who are also members of ICOMOS.
It is pretty clear that the intent is a meeting to increase the level of awareness and discussion of industrial heritage within ICOMOS.
The expertise of TICCIH and the value of the Memorandum of Understanding between ICOMOS and TICCIH is not being questioned.
I hope that there may be some people who are members of both ICOMOS and TICCIH who would be able to attend this meeting at the ICOMOS GA.
Please let me know if you can attend as well as replying as suggested by Georgia Meros below.

The Florence GA agenda is very tight with several concurrent events
Whilst I intend to try to attend the one about Industrial heritage, as yet unsure
Who else do you know will be at the GA too? Maybe we could get together to discuss this.
What is there in the background? Maybe friction between the 2 NGOs

I am not favouring the conspiracy theory on this one!
I am keen to see ICOMOS raise the standing of Industrial heritage within ICOMOS and also work well with TICCIH.
It is hard with multiple sessions at the GA.
Let's see who else will be attending. Hopefully we can have a couple of ICOMOS/TICCIH members at the meeting.
