In the end, what worked for me was to sign in to the App Store and not go to the purchased tab and not search Garage Band in any way, but to just click on the Garage Band icon in the AppStore main page. It immediately asked if I wanted to download the latest compatible version (which I had been asked in previous failed attempts). I agreed and it downloaded successfully.

In AppStore, I started an Install for a different (non-GB) previously purchased app, Paused it, then clicked Install for Garageband and this time it worked: 10.3.5 installed, followed by download of Essential sounds. Go figure. Some state in AppStore had to be cleared before it would try to install an older GB version? Even after reboot of laptop, logout and login again with AppleID.

I went to install Garage Band and got the message that I needed MacOS Big Sur 11.0. That is why I came here. When I went back to Applications I found a GB icon there that wasn't there before. I clicked on it and it installed GB version 10.3. 2. I did not update it as it asked me to. I clicked on the icon again and it is installing Essential Sounds. Cross your fingers.

I've worked with the uploaded and installed version 10.3. 2 of Garageband. It seems to be working OK. The install of the Complete Sound Library is taking a very long time. I hope it doesn't screw it up. However, GB as 10.3.2 is working on my MacBook Pro 2010 17" running on High Sierra 10.13.6. It just finished with the Complete Sound Library upload. I've just checked which version of Garageband I have and it says I have 10.3.5. And it seems to be working fine. I'm getting a metronome click on my recordings, but other than that it seems to be working. I'm going to get out of everything now and see if I can get back in.

OK. I went into my Apple purchases as was recommended here to see if I could find Garageband there to upload. It was not on the list of my purchases. I've owned Macs for a very long time, decades. My first purchase of a Macbook Pro came with Garageband on its CDs. Perhaps Apple had some internal record that I had purchased it with my Macbook Pro, but it was not on my list of purchases. I went to download Garageband from the App Store but was given the message that I needed Big Sur 11 and I didn't have it so I wasn't going to be able to download Garageband. OK. I went back to my Applications menu and there was a Garageband icon there that wasn't there before. ??? I clicked on it and it began a download. I thought that it was going to download the latest Garageband and that after the hassle of downloading it I would probably get a message that I couldn't use the program, but it didn't. What it downloaded was Garageband 10.3.2. and downloaded Basic Sounds as well. It asked if I wanted to upload the latest version of Garageband and I closed the popup window. I clicked on the icon again and it asked if I wanted Complete Sounds. I said yes, but then immediately regretted it because I thought that it would be the thing that would make the program incompatible with my Mac and High Sierra. It wasn't. After the "Compete Sounds" download I clicked on the Garageband Icon again and the program is running. Under about Garageband it says I now have version 10.3.5. I'm recording and saving. I accidentally pushed the metronome button and was getting a clicking sound, but I figured it out and turned that off. I have now Garageband 10.3.5 running on my 2010 Macbook pro 17 inch running High Sierra. I hope those of you who are running High Sierra, if you follow my steps, will get a Garageband version that will run on your machine as I did.

This really hurts. I have an older Macbook Pro 13" Late 2011. I originally purchased for my daughter to go to college with. I wanted to download use Garageband. The app store recommendation was to upgrade the OS. So I did, bringing it up to High Sierra 10.12.6. Now I cannot load GB and I'm seemingly stuck. I just want to use this mac for garageband and testing MS Office versions of Excel Workbooks with Macros Designed for Mac and Windows. x I've attempted the other suggestions (Looking for the GB App under my daughters AppleStore ID. etc.) It appears it was never loaded... but I swear it was at an earlier OS version.

In the end, what worked for me was to sign in to the App Store and not go to the purchased tab and not search Garage Band in any way, but to just click on the Garage Band icon in the AppStore main page. It immediately asked if I wanted to download the latest compatible version I agreed and it downloaded successfully.

But, when opening the 6.0.5 Garageband from Launchpad (in High Sierra, or even Yosemite which I installed in a desperate attempt) it immediately starts downloading the Big Sur version which fails at the end of the process.

* Please note: This sequence includes four sets of "Ruffles and Flourishes, Flag Officers March," one of which may be chosen if honors are required. The other three should not be programmed for play. If honors are not required in the sequence, all four tracks should be excluded.

Bugle calls performed by the ceremonial bugler for Marine Barracks Washington. All bugle calls were performed on a Soprano bugle in G. For those calls for which there are multiple versions: the first most closely adheres to the bugle calls listed in the Marine Corps Manual. Alternate calls follow common practice performance at Marine Barracks Washington and throughout the Marine Corps and the military.

Having the black sapphire version with the red button I admit that in daily use it isn't really remarkable. I don't know why Garmin made this difference. Don't bother to buy the red button version. No regret.

As regular black titanium is very hard to find in stock I managed to find this leather band vesion in stock (lady said the received 3 units only), you get 2 straps, leather and black silicone (both with matching dark gray clasp) and a much nicer watch box. With 10% cash discount it was the same price as regular black.

tend to find that the red marking on the watch face is probably more visible than the button itself, but that may be because I am using the same screen and yellow marking too (just love a black face and yellow hands - have the same combo on my mechanical seiko). But saying that never really noticed it, and no one in my family has noticed the switch from F6x (which has the same red stripes, and also has a black and red button but far less visible. So as others have pointed out, it really isn't that visible.

"My Immortal" is a song by American rock band Evanescence from their debut studio album, Fallen (2003). It was released by Wind-up Records on December 8, 2003 as the album's third single, following its inclusion on the soundtrack to the film Daredevil. The song was written by singer and pianist Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody when they were 15. Several versions were recorded, with the earliest in 1997. Wind-up used the recording from their 2000 demo CD on Fallen against Lee's wishes, which featured Lee's demo vocals and a MIDI keyboard. Strings from Daredevil composer Graeme Revell were added during the production of Fallen. The single, dubbed "band version", is the re-recording Lee and Moody made for Fallen, featuring guitar, drums and bass after the bridge and a string arrangement by David Campbell. An alternative version of the song appears on the band's fourth studio album Synthesis (2017).

"My Immortal" is a piano power ballad, with fictional lyrics about a lingering spirit that haunts someone. The song received generally positive reviews. It was commercially successful, peaking within the top ten in over 10 countries. It charted at number seven on the US Billboard Hot 100 and topped the charts in Canada, Greece and Portugal, as well as on the Billboard Adult Pop Songs chart. The single was certified gold in the US and platinum in Australia. In 2005, it received a nomination for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals at the 47th Grammy Awards. The music video directed by David Mould was filmed in black-and-white in Gothic Quarter, Barcelona. The video was nominated for the MTV Video Music Award for Best Rock Video.

The song's words were originally written by Moody from fiction and the music written by Lee on piano when they were 15, after which Lee added the bridge.[8] The lyrics of the song refer to a spirit that haunts the memory of a grieving loved one, according to MTV.[2] Lee considered it Moody's song as he wrote the lyrics.[9][2] She contributed "a little bit" to the lyrics, but does not connect with the song as it does not have personal meaning to her.[10][11][7]

The earliest known demo of the song was a home-recording by Lee and Moody that solely featured Lee's vocals and piano and slightly different lyrics. It was intended to be included on their 1998 Evanescence EP but was cut before the EP's release.[12][4] The song was re-recorded for their 2000 demo album, Origin.[13] A version of the song is also featured on the 2003 EP, Mystary.[14]

The demo that Evanescence used on their 2000 demo CD was recorded at the radio station where Lee's father worked, after it was empty late at night. This recording, comprising a MIDI keyboard and Lee's demo vocal performance as a teen, is the version used on Fallen per the label's demand, to Lee's displeasure.[25] The label's head of A&R had said in an interview with HitQuarters that when she heard the song she "knew it was a hit".[26] Lee said that the label was "in love" with the song and, although Evanescence had other songs for the album, label executives had "listened to it too many times and they couldn't let it go so they had to put it on the album".[27] She added: .mw-parser-output .templatequoteoverflow:hidden;margin:1em 0;padding:0 32px.mw-parser-output .templatequote .templatequoteciteline-height:1.5em;text-align:left;padding-left:1.6em;margin-top:0

Lee later said she also dislikes it because she "sounds like a little kid" and the album version does not use David Campbell's orchestration.[24] When "My Immortal" became a single, Lee and Moody chose the recording they had made for Fallen that the label originally rejected.[2] This recording is dubbed the "band version", featuring guitar, drums and bass after the bridge and during the final chorus of the song, as well as Campbell's orchestration. It is the version used on the song's music video and for radio.[30] The later pressings of Fallen contain the single version (or "band version") of "My Immortal" as a hidden track.[28] Moody is credited on the album with producing the song,[31] while on the single's CD Dave Fortman and Moody are credited with production on both the album version and "band version" of the song.[32] The added strings on the album version were arranged by Graeme Revell for the Daredevil soundtrack.[34]
